Current Certificates Issued to the National Water Quality Laboratory
- State of New York (Issued April 1, 2009; Expires April 1, 2010)
- State of Florida (Effective July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010)
- State of Texas (Effective January 1, 2009 Expires December 31, 2009)
- State of North Carolina (Effective August 2008)
The NWQL maintains NELAP certification through New York State for nonpotable waters using USGS methods.

Please note, NWQL's drinking water certification from the State of Colorado expired June 1, 2004.
